This season I’m really loving dark green, and it seems like everyone else is too. I’ve been seeing green pop up in all areas of home decor. Even though Emerald was Pantone’s Color of the Year in 2013, it definitely feels right now. The color feels rich but still down to earth and cozy, especially in green velvet. It’s as versatile as blue, but a bit more unexpected. Here is some beautiful inspiration, how I’m bringing it into my home, and decor picks I’m loving in all shades of dark green.
Green is beautiful with blacks and golds…
As well as grays and charcoal…
How I’m bringing green into my home decor this season
I love the color for fall, but it’ll take me right through the Holidays and winter, giving me just enough color to warm up colder days. I added a few pillows to my gray sofa in a deep green velvet, and faux greenery adds a natural element with no maintenance. That I like.
I added moss balls, an airplant, and starry lights to a glass and gold terrarium on my coffee table. Easy to put together, and I love the warm glow of the lights and the glimmer of gold.
I also have a few green vases throughout and more greenery and moss balls.
